District Leader

Dear Brother and Sister Mortensen, 

We gratefully acknowledge the appointment of your son, Elder Mortensen, to serve as the District Leader of the Creek District. He has received this assignment because of his faithful and obedient service of the Lord. His demonstration of missionary skills and his genuine concern for others qualify him for this work.

As a District Leader, Elder Mortensen will supervise and inspire the missionaries within the District as well as continue to care, along with his companion Elder Mark Johnson, for their own proselyting area. He will also interview candidates for baptism and make sure that the welfare of the missionaries is in harmony with the accepted standards on the mission. 

We are grateful for your son and his dedicated, selfless service to the Lord. May the Lord richly bless you and Elder Mortensen as you prayerfully support this sacred work.
